This on-air tune-in campaign to promote KTVU FOX 2’s award winning 7AM morning news show won an award as well, a National Emmy. The campaign was credited for increasing viewership for the morning news show by over15%. More importantly, this increase occurred during sweeps week, the time period when the station sets its advertising rates based on ratings.
